Service Opportunity Details: Experiencial Support: Lawrence Hall needs a group of committed individuals to provide experiential support to the youth in our Older Adolescent Programs (ages 17-21). This would include (but not limited to) birthday parties/cards, holiday parties and other gatherings. We’re also seeking individuals passionate or informed on any specific topic to host workshops or be speakers on topics for our youth. Mentoring: Mentoring is one of the most challenging but rewarding volunteer opportunities at Lawrence Hall. We are always seeking adult volunteers to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a young person (8-24) for a period of at least six months. By becoming part of the social network of adults and community members who care about the youth, a mentor can help youth develop and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals. Mentoring opportunities for youth of all ages are available at our various locations and programs.
