Service Opportunity Details: Casa Central’s Early Learning Academy (ELA) provides safe, nurturing, bilingual, and bicultural early childhood programming with proven results. Volunteers needed at the ELA read with the children (Englsih and Spanish), help with arts and crafts, and assist teachers with maintaining clean, organized classrooms.
Location: Chicago-Humboldt Park
Volunteer Ages: Teens Young adults Adults Groups
Frequency: On-going Periodic
Frequency Details: Weekly or twice per month is encouraged as it helps to build rapport with the students. While we appreciate volunteers that are able to come on a regular basis, we also welcome one-time volunteers, especially for groups.
