Service Opportunity Details: Child Care Aides are needed in our Family Literacy Program (FLP) to provide care for the young children (ages 0-5) of students attending Association House High School. Child Care Aides will help provide child care, facilitate reading, writing, and learning activities with children, and assist with other age-appropriate educational play activities.
Location: Chicago – Humboldt Park
Volunteer Ages: Young Adults Adults
Frequency: On-going
Frequency Details: Child Care Aides are needed throughout the year, and particularly during the academic year. The program takes place during the same hours as the high school: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. While Aides do not need to commit to volunteering every day, we do expect that volunteers commit to a regular schedule.
