Hallelujah!
Praise God in the holy house of worship,
praise God under the open skies;
Praise God for acts of power,
praise the Lord for magnificent greatness;
Praise with a blast on the trumpet,
praise by strumming soft strings;
Praise God with castanets and dance,
praise the Lord with banjo and flute;
Praise God with cymbals and a big bass drum,
praise the Lord with fiddles and mandolin.
Let every living, breathing creature praise God!
Hallelujah!
Praying the Psalms
You are holy, God.
Under today’s sky
I see you and sing praise.
Over the radio,
on my playlist,
out from my piano,
trumpet, violin
comes praise.
My praise meets
my neighbors praise
and together we join
with every living breathing creature
to sing your praise, O God.
