Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers are usually needed for our two major fundraising events in February and May. Volunteers can be involved in planning the event or work on the event date.

Service Opportunity Details: The agency holds two major benefits yearly that raise significant dollars for Holy Family Ministries. Volunteers are greatly needed and appreciated to help with its Spring benefit to be held in April. The benefit requires multiple committees (invitations, guest recruitment, auction items, menu, etc.) with monthly pre-event meetings and event participation requested.

Frequency: On-going

Frequency Details: Every year the Spring Benefit is held in April and the Fall Benefit in November. Volunteers are asked to attend scheduled committee meetings (1 meeting per month) beginning approximately 3 months prior to the event. Volunteers devote time, beyond meetings, to individual tasks assigned in the weeks leading up to the benefit.

Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed for planning committees and day of event support for a variety of fundraising events throughout the year (eg., annual Rock The Cradle Gala, Cradle Classic golf tournament and First Look for Charity). Volunteers assist The Cradle in planning the events and day-of-event staffing. Cradle volunteers each bring theoir own skill sets to fit into the needs of the organization.

Service Opportunity Details: Christopher House host three Read-a-Thon family events that support literacy, reinforce the power of books, and create a commitment to read at home by giving every child books to build their home libraries. Volunteers are needed to help with fun literacy games and activities.

Frequency Details:  Read-a-Thon takes place during the late February and early March.
