We are also actively seeking resources that will help us with our visibility problem pro bono.

Service Opportunity Details: Family Promise seeks a communications professional to serve on the Board or on the Communications Committee. Ideally, the person will have a broader understanding of the communications process (including social media and website design), as well as a particular expertise. and be able to help coach others in this area. Depending on one’s skills and experience, the person could do some of the work and and some tasks could be committee-based.

Location: Evanston

Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers neded to help create stories to share about the work of St. Leonard’s. Depending on your skills and interests, this could include: photography, videography, blog writing, Instagram and Facebook updates, and interviewing alumni and current residents of St. Leonard’s for both long and short- form stories.

Those interested might help with assignments including but not limited to creating new client folders, organizing files and supplies, data verification and entry, and proofreading. Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed with marketing and public relations experience to promote events and performances throughout the year, or expertise in social media marketing and/or skilled in planning and executing social media strategic campaigns to work with agency’s Development Team. They also welcome volunteers interested in sharing Family Matters’ story with others in Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
