Service Opportunity Details: Family Promise seeks a communications professional to serve on the Board or on the Communications Committee. Ideally, the person will have a broader understanding of the communications process (including social media and website design), as well as a particular expertise. and be able to help coach others in this area. Depending on one’s skills and experience, the person could do some of the work and and some tasks could be committee-based.

Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed to participate in Board of Directors and Committees to support the agency’s mission. Board members attend 6 Board meetings a year, serve on at least one committee of the Board, serve as an ambassador to promote the work of St. Leonard’s, and commit to financial support. Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed to join Josselyn’s Auuxiliary Board, Associate Board, and Junior Board. – The Josselyn Center has launched an Auxiliary Board in 2019. The Board is spending spring 2019 getting started with launch, and is planning more full launch for fall 2019. The Board welcomes new volunteers who would like to commit to ongoing meetings (monthly), event support when needed, and outreach support. – We plan to launch an Associates Board for young professionals in fall 2019, as well. This is an important opportunity to continue to spread awareness and engagement among professional leaders across our service area. – The Josselyn Junior Board currently engages more than 25 high school students, led by two young professionals. The Junior Board meets monthly and plans several events throughout the year.

Service Opportunity Details: Crusher’s Club is looking for additional Board members to embrace its mission. Principal responsibilties are guidance and oversight for the Executive Director who runs the organization on a day-to-day basis. The Board’s “give or get” policy is $5,000. Board members are expected to attend the 7-8 board meetings annually, drive attendance at events featuring Crushers Club, and advocate for the agency in their rspective networks. The board has ambitious growth plans to expand to a larger site as demand for services is growing.This will require increased fundraising over the next few years to fund a growing budget.
