On April 29, Kenilworth Union members came together as “A Murmuration of Hope” at the annual Outreach benefit at Michigan Shores Club. Thanks to their generosity and the donations of others, the event raised $216,000, enabling Kenilworth Union to continue supporting the 40 not-for-profit agencies it partners with.
The funds raised from the benefit contributed to a total of $558,000 which has been distributed as grants to the agencies. As a result, thousands of people throughout Chicagoland will receive essential services relating to education and childcare; emergency services; health care; and community services.
Special thanks go to Benefit Chair Julie Danilek who coordinated details of the event emceed by Taylor Cole, including a wine cork pull, live and silent auction, raffle, and paddle raise. The Josselyn Center, Sarah’s Circle, and Bottom Line were highlighted at this year’s event.
