Finding Vivian Maier

Join us for a fascinating documentary about Vivian Maier on Tuesday, May 3 ( note that we will be showing movies on the first Tuesday of the month) at 6:30 in the Culbertson Room.

Some church members visited an exhibition of her photographs at the Chicago History Museum.  Her remarkable photography was discovered after her death. Now she is considered one of the 20th century’s greatest street photographers. She was a mysterious nanny on the North Shore who secretly took over 100,000 photographs. Maier’s strange and riveting life and art are revealed through never-before-seen photographs, films, and interviews with dozens who thought they knew her.

Invite your friends and family to join us for this excellent film.
