Kathy McCabe
Anyone who knows Kenilworth Union Church’s administrative assistant extraordinaire, Kathy McCabe, knows that she is an amazing resource and is a huge help to anyone who needs it. And all teasing aside, you know she already is a busy, valued, and knowledgeable member of the church staff.
However, while Katie Lancaster, our new Senior Associate Minister for Pastoral Care, is on sabbatical in January and February, Kathy hopes to be even busier. She will be acting as an administrative hub for any and all congregational care milestones, needs, or follow-ups that come up during Katie’s absence. So if you or someone you know has some upcoming surgery…or you hear about a death in our congregation…or you know a Kenilworth Union friend who’s just had a baby…please reach out to Kathy, and she’ll mobilize the appropriate minister or other caring resource within our church to follow up.
Especially during a pandemic we rely on our congregants to keep us informed about joys and concerns across our Church family. We want to do everything we can to support, pray for, and love our fellow members. It’s easy to reach Kathy via email: Kathy McCabe or by phone: 847-251-4272 ex. 2002. Her cell is listed in your directory. She is available during the week during business hours.
If you think a caring update can’t wait, the ministers, Bill Evertsberg, 847-251-4272 ex. 2001 and Christine Hides, 847-251-4272 ex. 2106 are also available to engage in pastoral care. Please reach out to them.
Thank you, in advance, for continuing to love and care for one another as 2021 unfolds. With gratitude for Kathy and all the other caring resources we are blessed to enjoy as part of Kenilworth Union Church, I wish you a blessed and safe New Year.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.—Galatians 6:10
