Lawrence Hall “Wish List”
Lawrence Hall, one of Kenilworth Union Church’s Outreach partners, provides a safe space along with nurturing homes for children and teens who have been removed from their birth families due to abuse and/or neglect. Every year Lawrence Hall conducts a special Holiday “Wish List” program that offers an enormous bright spot for the children in their care. We need your help to make some Christmas wishes come true!
Please consider supporting a child at Lawrence Hall this Christmas season by signing up to purchase gifts from a child’s “Wish List” by Tuesday, December 1. This year you have the option to shop for gifts personally or shop online!
Each “Wish List” will include the child’s name, gender, and age along with their individual toy and clothing wishes. Gifts should cost $50 in total.
A few important details to keep in mind:
- Gifts should be wrapped when they are dropped off.
Gifts should be dropped off during the below times at the Warwick Manse (The Manse is located just west of the church lot, at 417 Warwick Ave. It is a white house). We will try to meet you at your car to make drop-off easy!
- Friday, December 11 from 8:30–9:15 a.m.
- Saturday, December 12 from 9 a.m.–noon
If neither of these times work please respond to Julia Petersen to make alternative arrangements.
- Three or Four gifts are recommended per child. Lawrence Hall requests spending about $50 per “Wish List” to create equity among the children.
Please fill out this survey by Tuesday, December 1 if you and your family would like to participate in this wonderful program. “Your” child will be forever grateful!
