When a few residents of Kenilworth felt called by God to create a church for their fledgling community in 1896, they answered it. For the first three years the church grew from the passion and efforts of its members….without any staff.
Kenilworth Union possesses its unique character and spirit from people like them and you who have offered your time and talents to be the church in this community to nurture faith, foster fellowship, and sing God’s glories. Members assume every position from visionary leadership in building expansions to the simple, yet vital, care of pouring coffee and greeting worshipers.
Okay, your schedule may already be jam-packed and offering to do one more thing might set you over the top. Perhaps what the church offers you is a chance to share a meal, take a walk, or lament the challenges of life on the North Shore with other people of faith.
Come to Volunteer Sunday—this Sunday—in the Culbertson Room to talk with your fellow neighbors and members about where you may find a place to get connected.
