Join us at noon for luncheon and program featuring Squire Prince, Director of Youth here at Kenilworth Union. During “The Stories We Tell” Squire will talk about his journey of faith, the arts—specifically theater, and the importance of storytelling. “The best sermons are not preached in the pulpit; they are the stories of our life.”

Squire is excited to be sharing the wonders of theatre with the First Wednesday family. Squire has always had a love for all things theatre but didn’t start acting onstage until his junior year of high school. In 2018 he graduated from Illinois College where he received his B.A. in Music and Theatre. During those long years, he served as Minister of Music, President of the Worship Band, and President of the Theatre Honor Society. Some of Squire’s favorite roles onstage include Seaweed (Hairspray), Caliban (The Tempest), Pepper (Mamma Mia), Ike (Newsies), and Jaime Lockhart (The Robber Bridegroom). Squire also has directing and design credits from several theatres in the central Illinois area; shows including Violet, Peter Pan and Wendy, The Spitfire Grill, Music Man, and Little Women. From teaching theatre/acting workshops, giving independent acting coaching, directing, designing, conducting, acting, and stage managing, Squire has been blessed to make his way around the theatre world, and wear many different hats. Fun fact, Squire was featured very briefly in an independent Christian film, now viewable on Amazon Prime.
