We share an article or two that we can read together—taking turns reading aloud and pausing to share and comment.

This group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. to to read an article or two together and pausing to share and comment.

This Thursday June 23 is our last meeting until September.  We will read one more short story by Tom Hanks.

Over the summer we will read Three Girls From Bronzeville by Dawn Turner. You may have read her editorials in the Tribune. This is the true story of three girls and the choices they made growing up in Bronzeville.  It was Wilmette’s “One Book One Village”.  I heard her interviewed by the library. There is a lot to discuss. We will meet in September to discuss it. (Place, time and date to be determined.) Suzanne Hales
