The Book of Exodus
Wednesdays, 9:15–10 a.m. September 15–November 10, 2021
The burning bush, the parting of the Red Sea, wandering in the wilderness—in this ten week study we will explore well known stories and “pivotal moments” in the first 15 chapters of Exodus. Walter Brueggemann’s new book, Deliverance Out of Empire, will guide us as we approach this fascinating text seeking to make sense of God’s transformative power in the midst of systems of domination and oppression. All are welcome to participate in this hybrid group. Please let Christine Hides know you are interested.
