Practicing Hope
How do we find hope in an anxious world? How do we live hopefully amid the stresses of our lives? Maybe hope is as certain and tangible as the sun rising over the lake. Or perhaps you agree with Caitlin Saida who responds to Dickinson’s feathery prose with, “Hope is not a bird, Emily…it’s an ugly thing with teeth and claws.”
Join Christine Hides in a creative and prayerful practice of exploring our longings in all their feathered and less than fluffy forms. You are invited to one or both of the three-week sessions. Each hybrid gathering will feature a short reflection, time to write, and an invitation to share with the group. Please RSVP to Christine Hides.
