Do a Good Deed for Dudley Drive

Written by: Julia Smolucha

Thank you Kenilworth Union Church for “Doing a good deed for Dudley”—we just dropped off donations that will support all these sweet puppies and kitties.

Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love,
and they leave us to teach us about loss.
The Dudley Evertsberg Memorial

The loss of Dudley is felt heavily throughout the congregation. A familiar, affectionate friend to children and a loyal companion to all—especially the Evertsberg family who loved and generously shared him—he was a dependable presence who considered the church his home and all who came here his family.

In celebrating Dudley’s life and the many ways he enhanced our experiences at the church, we wish to memorialize Dudley and spread the love and support that he so instinctively gave to all of us.

Financial donations are being accepted in Dudley’s memory that will be contributed to the Dog Fashion Show supporting Outreach on June 7. Please make your check out to Kenilworth Union Church, 211 Kenilworth Avenue, Kenilworth with Dudley Memorial on the memo line.

We are also accepting items that will be given to Heartland Animal Shelter. Please find donation box near the Reverend Dr. William A. Evertsberg’s office.
