Investing in Our Future

After working several years on a building and renovation plan to sustain our church for future generations, a plan was presented to and approved by the Board of Trustees in August, 2023. The proposed designs will:

Improve building access
Enhance safety and security
Create improved spaces for youth and music
Add capacity for concurrent meetings and activities
Address deferred maintenance in our building systems

Renderings and detailed layouts and floor plans will be made available in the Culbertson Room beginning in the fall of 2023. A Capital Campaign to fund this exciting next phase of our church home launched in September, 2023. Members of our congregation long before us gave generously to create the vibrant church we have today, and we hope that our generation will do the same to pay it forward for future generations. Just as we restore our own homes, we believe it is time to restore our spiritual home.

As you learn about the plans for our church facilities, we want to emphasize Kenilworth Union’s giving priorities:

First, to our annual Stewardship Campaign to fund church operations
Second, to our Annual Outreach Benefit to fund charitable grants
Third, to the Capital Campaign, a once-in-a-generation request to invest in our spiritual home
