Marie-Pierre LeBris (she also goes by M.P. her initials) is a native Californian and also lived for several years in New York city where she grew up on Manhattan’s Riverside drive and attended, along with her sister, the Lycée Francais, which is an all-French speaking private school for students Kindergarten through twelfth grade. About ten years ago she moved from California to Chicago to be closer to family who lived here in Evanston (mother) and Wilmette (sister, brother-in-law, and nephew). She also has a brother (the oldest of her siblings) who lives with his wife of many years in New Canaan, Connecticut. Currently M.P. lives in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago which she finds culturally eclectic and centrally located to the rest of the city and its suburbs. She has worked in a variety of industries as an executive assistant/administrator including real estate, legal, executive search, and non-profit.

She has a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA and keeps up with Bruin life as much as possible including the local Chicago Alumni committee and has done Paralegal studies at Loyola Chicago. She enjoys reading, watching old movies, learning the history of all subjects, cooking, gardening, and running. She also tries to travel to France as much as possible to see the rest of the family including uncles, aunts, and cousins who all still live there mostly in and near Paris.
