Squire Prince is excited to be joining the KUC Youth Ministry Team. A native of Chicago’s Southside, Squire has been ministering since the young age of 11. In 2018 he graduated from Illinois College where he received his B.A. in Music and Theatre. During those long years, he served as Minister of Music, President of the Worship Band, and President of the Theatre Honor Society.
After college Squire started serving as the Director of Student Ministries at Grace UMC, where he has been for three and a half years. During this time, Squire began a thriving youth program that encouraged faith, fellowship, and fun. He was blessed to see students engaging in discipleship, study, and missions.
During the summer of 2020, in the height of the lockdown, God got a hold of Squire, and he decided to stop “Jonah”-ing from his call to seminary. He is currently studying for his MA in Youth and Young Adult Ministries, but plans to move to the M.Div to seek full pastoral ordination.
When not in the church, Squire is usually rehearsing in a theatre, or reading a book on theology. He is excited for how God has used him before and will continue to use him to enlarge the kingdom. To God be all glory, honor, and praise.
