Psalm 134
Come, bless God,
all you servants of God!
You priests of God, posted to the nightwatch
in God’s shrine,
Lift your praising hands to the Holy Place,
and bless God.
In turn, may God of Zion bless you—
God who made heaven and earth!

Praying the Psalms
So often we are posted to the nightwatch, O God.
Our worries, aches, weighty troubles come alive
in the sanctuary of our bodies after sundown.
We praise you for your presence in that holy place,
the tabernacle of night, where we release to you
our burdens, where you carry us. Amen.
