Herb and Rhonda Jordan
It’s easy to get caught up in a litany of “what would have been” were it not for the pandemic. A summer wedding….a family trip….outings with friends….the list goes on. Then we realized being homebound wasn’t all bad. We’ve had time to pay attention to the beautiful birds in our backyard….the shifting sunlight as we go from summer to fall…reminders that many of God’s blessings are right in front of us, but too often overlooked as we rush from one thing to the next. We’re grateful for the time to give thanks for these simple joys.
Let Us Pray:
I will lift up my eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth.
—Psalm 121
Perhaps you can list 2–3 things, people, or aspects
of your life for which you are thankful today.
