Squire Prince
Loving and Divine Creator,
We come with thanksgiving together in fellowship for your glorious presence and blessings. Lord, you reign your light and warmth into every place of our lives, bringing beauty from ashes, and glory from suffering. Today we celebrate our youth, and how you have equipped them with the necessary tools and wisdom to carry out your commission. You have equipped them with all of who you are, to bring your love and compassion to differing parts of this world.
Lord, in this moment we pray for our departing seniors who will be embarking on new journeys of faith and development. Be with them Lord, as they may be standing in fear, remind them Lord that your presence never leaves, and that your protecting hand is always covering them, going before them, and making a way for their success. Bring them peace, and bring us rejoicing over them.
We turn to our world, that cries out for you O Lord. We pray for our friends both near and far who are struggling with pains both big and small, facing battles both personal and global, and facing disappointment both internally and externally. Lord, for us and our neighbors, hear our prayer. We rejoice with those who rejoice, and we mourn with those who mourn, we ask a special blessing over the Greene family as they mourn in this moment, as well as the Alcantara family as they mourn the death of their father, we pray that both would see your glory and your hand in their lives.
Today for all things, great, small, and in between, we give thanks. And now, we pray together in one voice, the prayer that Jesus taught us: Our Father…. Amen.
