Give us unignorable silence, O God, a holy beginning for this holy day. Give us the echo of our own prayers sounding off the walls of our lives, an echo of “yes, yes, yes” when we ask, “be with us, be with us, be with us, O God.” Forever surprise us, O God, hearing us growing, groaning, grounded in your presence.
