Let us go deeper and deeper into the world, O God. Deeper into who we are. Deeper into that place where you are. Deeper into the determination you call us toward, a determination that will carve life out of the melancholy, the loud voices, the bad advice, the wild nights. Carve life out of this day, O God, and draw us deeper into the deep. Amen.
