Margaret Ann Fowler
Acts 7:54–56
On days when our patience dwindles, and we realize anger and rage might sink us, we ask with endless hope: be with us. Fill us with your spirit. Open our eyes. Let us, with grace, be unshaken by this storm. When the distant deep seems dark, fill our open palms with handfuls of light. Be our endless hope, O holy one. Fill us with your spirit, heartbeat after heartbeat after heartbeat. Amen.
