Pilgrimage to Pentecost—Day 18: April 29

Do not let daybreak go untended, O God. As daylight curls up around us and awakens us from sleep, be the architect of peace, singing us into the day. Let our day be fresh, full of seeing: you, one another, ourselves even. Cover us with your blanket of peace today, O God, and awaken us anew. Amen.
