New Trustees Join the Board

At the church’s Annual Meeting on September 22, voters approved a slate of 24 trustees to the 2024–2025 board. Three longtime board members—Meg Gibson Revord, Tina Dalman Roselli, and George Wishart—departed at the conclusion of their terms, and the church community expresses its gratitude for their devoted service. Three new board members—Kent Born, Eric Hayes, and Andrea Moe—joined as an at-large trustee, general counsel, and stewardship chair, respectively. We welcome these three to the board!

Kent Born

Kent Born is a Minnesota native who came to the Chicagoland area for college and, but for four years in New York City, has lived here ever since. Kent and his wife Laura have lived in Wilmette since 2000, raising their children Elise, Jason, and Kyle here. Kent is passionate about working with youth, having taught Sunday School at Kenilworth Union for ten years and been involved in the IMPACT program since 2017. Elise, Jason, and Kyle received their Third Grade Bibles and were confirmed at Kenilworth Union, Kyle was baptized by Dr. Bowen, and all five family members have been on multiple church-sponsored mission trips over the years. As Kent wraps up a nearly 40-year career in commercial real estate at the end of this year, he is very excited to increase his involvement at an institution that has brought him and his family so much comfort and joy!

Eric Hayes

Eric Hayes and his wife Bridgette moved to Kenilworth in 2018 with their two boys, Christophe and Henrik. Since joining Kenilworth Union Church shortly thereafter, the Hayes family has been active in the church. Eric and Bridgette teach Sunday School and Eric also recently served on the Business Committee. Christophe and Henrik have enjoyed attending and being active in AJN, Sunday School, Youth Choir and all that Kenilworth Union has to offer. Eric is passionate about community service and engagement, and in that sense serves on the Joseph Sears School Board and as a Troup 13 Boy Scout Leader. Eric is a senior partner at a multi-national law firm where he has practiced for over 20 years. Eric is honored to join the Executive Board as General Counsel and further serve the church community.

Andrea Moe

Andrea Moe moved to Kenilworth with her husband and three children in the summer of 2023. They were immediately drawn to the church community and baptized their youngest son, Lucas, at Kenilworth Union. Andrea is excited to serve on the Stewardship committee to ensure the church has the resources to continue to evolve, thrive and, serve our communities. She looks forward to engaging with other young families seeking to find a congregation that provides support and encouragement in an otherwise chaotic chapter of life. Andrea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and the Kellogg School of Management in 2012. She has worked across a variety of roles at GE Capital and Wells Fargo and now overseas Client Services at fintech startup, Amount.
