The Reverend Christine V. Hides

For the next four–six weeks Willet Hauser will be doing scheduled restoration and repair work on windows in the sanctuary and on the first floor. Over time the harsh Midwestern weather has created the need to strengthen the WWI Memorial windows and repair cracks in the panes of several others. This maintenance will ensure that these architectural gems maintain their beauty for years to come.

Most of the windows that illuminate our worship, inspire our faith, and educate the generations were designed by the original Willet Stained Glass Studios. Willet Hauser, created from the 1977 merger of Willet Studios with Hauser Architectural Glass, is one of the oldest studios in North America. If you would like to learn more about Kenilworth Union’s unique collection of windows, please stop by the front desk for one of our Architectural and Stained Glass guides or revisit the Shafts of Light and Stained Glass Windows sermon series. The Buildings and Grounds Committee welcomes any questions.
