Spiritual Practice: Lectio Divina (Holy Reading)
Lectio divina or holy reading of scripture takes the pressure of you as an individual to “know” something, and allows you to just enter in. Lectio divina is a low pressure, intuitive, spiritual way of reading the bible that doesn’t focus on what you know, but instead invites you to listen, receive and integrate the experience of reading the bible into your life. It puts God at the center of the practice of reading scripture, and allows you to be present, welcoming the divine in your midst.
