WEEK 1
Lord, you have searched me. You know me. —Psalm 19:1
Holy God, by love you created us; for love you made us. May we always know your love and the love of our family. Amen.
WEEK 2
You are thoroughly familiar with all my ways. —Psalm 19:3
Holy God, you notice everything about us. You notice our strengths and our weaknesses. You love us no matter what. Thank you. Amen.
WEEK 3
You surround me—front and back. You put your hand on me. —Psalm 19:5
Eternal God, you ask us to follow Jesus’ commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. When loving others isn’t easy, guide us and show us the way. Amen.
WEEK 4
For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. —Psalm 19:13–14
Gracious God, you formed each one of us and made each of us unique. There is no one exactly like us. Help us to remember we are special. Help us to remember everyone else is special too. Amen.
WEEK 5
Where can I flee from your presence, God? If I go to the heights of the mountains or the depths of the sea, Lord, you are there. Wherever I go, your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast. —Psalm 19:8–10
Dear God, sometimes we make mistakes. We say and do things that hurt each other. When we feel bad for what we’ve done, sometimes we are embarrassed and don’t know what to do. Show us the way to say sorry. Remind us that there is nothing we can do and no place we can go to separate ourselves from your love. Amen.
WEEK 6
God, your plans are incomprehensible to me! Their total number is countless! If I tried to count them—they outnumber grains of sand! —Psalm 19:17–18
Holy God, sometimes you and your good plans are too much to imagine! But, through Jesus, you are as close as the ground we walk on. Help us to show and tell others about your love this Holy Week. Amen.
EASTER
Praise the Lord!
Today is Easter! Pass this card to each person and pray that they will always feel loved by our family and by Jesus. Amen.
