Kenilworth Union Church Green Team and Racial Justice Committee
April is Earth Month. And our Green Team and Racial Justice Committee will present a program focusing on environmental justice. Please join us on Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. to learn more about this important subject from two speakers at Faith in Place—which works with houses of worship across Illinois to promote a wise and equitable stewardship of our earth. Veronica Kyle and Pastor Scott Onque will discuss the history of the environmental justice movement, provide recent examples of environmental injustice, and the steps needed to create a cleaner environment for all. The event will also include time for questions and discussion.
