Scripture
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you. —2 Thessalonians 3:16
Wisdom
We’re really called not to dispel mystery but to abide it, to engage it. And that doesn’t mean necessarily making sense out of it. It’s just understanding that there’s a big part of this that is inherently and beautifully and romantically mysterious—has to be and always shall be. —Joe Henry, On Being: Welcoming Flies at the Picnic, February 26, 2015
Prayer
When we want to know with certainty the path in front of us, hold us in the mystery, claim your spirit awake within the not-knowing. Let comfort and inherent beauty seep into the gift of what we know only in the deep breath of this present moment. Amen. —The Reverend Dr. Katie Snipes Lancaster
