I believe that James Brown teaches us how to read scripture using the Jazz methodology. Learn how to read scripture out loud. Read it with different dynamics, pauses, and inflections. Close your eyes, imagine the people, sounds and colors. Imagine these things and begin to paint pictures in your head. Close your eyes and imagine the moment…envision what God is doing with you.
