The Reverend Dr. William A. Evertsberg
Some of us struggle to put into words just how important our pets are to us and our families. Often, they’re the first (and only!) to greet us when we walk in the door, or to offer a cuddle or a purr when we need it. They love us and our families unconditionally, and we are grateful for the opportunities we have to reciprocate.
That’s why every year we offer the Blessing of the Animals Worship, when we can bring our pets to the sanctuary so that they can know not only our love, but God’s love too. Join us on January 1 at 10 a.m. Worship with your pet (or if your animal doesn’t travel well, a picture of your pet or a stuffed animal) so we can start the year right with a blessing as part of God’s creation.
This will be the only Worship on January 1 at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary or Livestream. Children are welcome at this family-friendly worship as there will be no childcare.
