We’ve seen a recent uptick in scammers impersonating ministers and staff—both by text and email. Please ignore and block suspicious messages. Here are a few tips to avoid scams:

• Church staff emails only come from @kuc.org addresses
• No one on church staff will ask you to contact us “discreetly” for money or gift cards. You may always call the church office to check if the message is from us. Do not send gift cards.
• Be alert, this week, there have been a number of fake emails from Punchbowl (the online invitation service).

Thank you for your continued diligence. Church offices are closed today, Monday, January 19, but if you have questions please call John Sharp's office at 847-853-2003.
