Kathy Evertsberg
Hello Friends! My name is Kathy Evertsberg. I’m married to one of the ministers at Kenilworth Union Church. As you can tell, I’m channeling words and looks from my husband while taping this video. He’s my videographer, say hello Bill.
“Hello Kenilworth Union Church! I miss you!”
I’m sitting here on the rim, the southern rim of the Grand Canyon. If you look out, I don’t know if Bill will be able to zoom in, but if you look out we can actually see the rapids of the Colorado River from here and the beauty and splendor of this place.
I think the beauty speaks for itself. We’re having a great time. It’s day 15 of our travels. We had a wonderful coincidence this morning. We met a Dr. Blackstone and his wife from Aurora, IL, who’s the retired director of the University of Michigan Glee Club. He will be conducting when he comes to Kenilworth Union on Friday, May 13 to lead the glee club.
Go Blue! Shout out to Hamilton Chang and John Sharp who use to sing in the glee club and our demonstrative of getting this whole thing together. We’re hoping that it’s going to be streamed because we’ll be on the road still.
He and his wife are lovely, so greet them warmly. They are so excited about coming to Kenilworth Union and sharing the glee club with all of you.
Meanwhile we miss you, and we think about you, and we’re having a great time. Thanks for this opportunity.
