Bill Evertsberg’s Sabbatical

Written by: Julia Smolucha

Bill Evertsberg and Doogie

As Bill Evertsberg prepares for his long-planned sabbatical, the rest of the Kenilworth Union staff and ministry are positioned to help with the congregations’ needs in his absence.

Worship and congregational care continue to be our top priorities as a church, and should you need the help or advisement of a minister while Bill is out, please reach out to Katie Lancaster (847-853-2631) or Christine Hides (847-853-2106).

John Sharp (847-853-2003) will be able to answer organizational questions and Board President Meg Revord will be available as well. During business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.), Bill’s ministerial colleague Karen Gaynor (847-853-2636) can answer questions and know how to get in touch with Kathy and Bill, and in emergencies you can always call Bill’s cell phone: 203-249-5549.

As always, we welcome your general questions at the church’s main phone number (847-251-4272), where you can reach our wonderful administrative team.

Bill will be out of the building from April 19–the end of June, when he will return for the summer before serving as the August chaplain in Northport Point, Michigan, as he does every year.

Please join us in praying for a restful, restorative sabbatical for Bill and Kathy, whom we look forward to welcoming back in the warmer weather.
