Saturday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall

Kenilworth Union Church members and friends are invited to gather for the Annual Benefit fundraiser in support of 40 benevolence agencies sponsored by the church.

The evening begins with a social hour when guests will mingle over wine and appetizers. Dinner is provided by Grateful Bites. During dessert, a live auction offers opportunities to bid on items ranging from travel packages concluding with a lively paddle raise.

Throughout the evening, guests can mingle with representatives of three featured benevolence agencies: Breakthrough, Josselyn, and RefugeeONE.

The Featured Agencies

Breakthrough partners with people by building connections, developing skills, and opening doors of opportunities. With a hyperlocal focus in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood, Breakthrough partners with residents by providing services in housing, food assistance, youth education, mental and medical health care, adult economic opportunity, and anti-violence programming.

Josselyn is a nonprofit community health provider offering a full range of affordable and effective mental health services including therapy, psychiatry, case management, employment support, and specialized youth programs. Josselyn’s vision of providing mental health for all compels us to make services as accessible as possible to everyone and serves more than 4,400 low-income Chicagoland residents, a number that grows each week.

RefugeeOne is a pivotal local answer to critical global needs. As Chicago’s largest refugee resettlement agency, RefugeeOne’s mission is to create opportunity for refugees fleeing war, terror, and persecution to build new lives of safety, dignity, and self-reliance, working to ensure that refugee families resettle smoothly and secure a bright future for their families. RefugeeOne has welcomed 20,000 refugees from every major world crisis: from Cambodians and Rwandans surviving genocide to Afghans escaping the Taliban, and are serving more than 2,000 Ukrainians fleeing war and terror.
