Join us serving Kenilworth Union outreach agency Humble Design on Monday, February 15.
Humble Design’s warehouse in Chicago houses donated furniture, fixtures, artwork, toys, housewares and more and it is where they plan and stage each family’s unique interior design. There are two options to serve. Help by completing warehouse projects or preparing customized name signs for the children of the families they are designing for. Visit their website linked above to learn more.
1. Serving at the Warehouse: On Monday, February 15, we will lead a group of confirmation students and/or mentors on a service day at the Humble Design warehouse in Chicago helping with whatever projects they need help with on that date.
COVID measures include health and temperature check at check-in, Masks and social distancing are required. The warehouse is large and there is room to maintain distance between individuals and groups doing different tasks.
If enough people request it, bus transportation will be available. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.
2. Serve at home or locally: Alternatively, those who choose to serve at home, will be given instructions and assignments to make custom-made name signs with paint and embellishments on canvas for specific Humble Design clients.
